The day for which I am waiting for since I came to know about it, which makes me feel equally confident when i get a job after becoming a CA had atlast came on Feb 25th, 2014 when I got selected for INDUSTRIAL TRAINING after attending the interview at Credit Suisse, Pune.
The scheduled date for interview was 11th Feb, but they had postponed it for 25th Feb for which I cancelled my ticket to my home and stayed back for another one week in Pune after my classes and the visit of my parents to Pune.
This is the second time I am attending the interview. Credit Suisse is the first company which I heard in Pune imparting Industrial Training to CA Final students and also paying the highest stipend than other companies. When I gone through the Company's website, I was like "Oh God, would I be able to get into this company!!!" because when I saw in the Career Opportunities and what they expect from a candidate are so high that I felt I wont be able to reach their expectations at this point of time. Because my English is not that good, and my accent has an impact of my mother tongue and many more. I started to underestimate myself. This is the biggest mistake I do. Luckily, I didnt do this in my interview, may be because the other candidates attending the interview are more or less like me. Instead I was feeling more confident during the interview. I was the first to return the answer sheet during the written test and stepping out of the room cool and had a coffee outside. ;)
I was so happy to get a call from Credit Suisse to attend the interview. I should thank some of my friends who has been the reason for this success. Without their reference I wouldnt have got the call from them.
During the interview also, I was talking so much just like I am talking to my best friend whom I met after a long time. May be because the interviewer had made me feel comfortable with him by talking about my homeplace. Interview is such a place where someone is so interested in you that they like to know more about you and listen carefully to whatever you say. Just be bold and cool during the interview, your true nature comes out. Dont try to pretend like someone whom you were not all these days, you may fail to present properly. But if you are true to yourself everybody likes you.
"For every person there is a best friend and parents who loves their child so much. It means everybody are good enough to be loved for their nature, then why to pretend like someone you were not! Just be yourself and win this world." :)
Dad is making a call to me now and then that what happened and whats the status. I made a call to him and said that I got selected. He was happy, and asking some more details about the company. Called up to mom and my friend saying that I got selected. They were very happy. I didnt realise their happiness until I heard from my friend that how happy they were when they got to know that their child is now going to earn in a couple of days and stand on her own legs. The dream has come true.
Happiness is really unexpressable, one has to experience it to know it better.
Mom is waiting for me desperately which made her to come to railway station at night 12.30 along with dad even when my dad refused her to come.
I am so lucky to experience this day so early when I made my parents to feel proud of their child.
